Who founded REAPPS?
REAPPS was founded in 2017 by Rinor Shkodra, who has been building apps since 2014.
What does REAPPS do?
We run two tracks side by side, as we have from the start: our own products, where we prove new technology in public, and custom software, where we build it for the people who need it.
What has REAPPS built?
Our products include Black, OLEDX, Videoblast, Smart Voice, SoundX, OMNI, Wallpapers Now, Shorts Master and Stun, with more than 17 million downloads between them. Our custom work includes AGL Nova, an accounting platform for Switzerland, and AI systems for law and medicine. See the work page.
Do you build software for other companies?
Yes, and we have from the start. Much of that work is under NDA, which is why our work page says more about what we build than who we build it for.
Why do your products tend to be early?
Because we prove technology in public before the platforms do: an always-on display for iPhone five years before Apple, offline transcription five years before Voice Memos, and an AI keyboard before ChatGPT existed.
Is Stun available?
Stun is in testing. Its shade matching has held 97% accuracy so far. Read the case study.
How does the studio work?
A senior core team with hand-picked specialists, assembled around each product. We take on a few things at a time, so the people who start the work are the people who ship it.
